The Mount Washington Community Development Corporation (MWCDC) is a 501c3, non-profit community development corporation serving the neighborhoods of Mount Washington and Duquesne Heights, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Established in 1990, the mission of the MWCDC is to cultivate growth, development and community investment. Strategic priorities to achieve the mission are done through programs like business development, park and conservation management, real estate development, advocacy, public safety and marketing/outreach.
Volunteers will be helping to build trails. Students will to clear brush, vines, and trash.

Be a part of creating trails in Pittsburgh’s newest regional park, Emerald View Park! Join Mount Washington CDC staff and CMU Engineers without Borders students to clear brush, vines, and trash as the first step in blazing a new trail in the park. MWCDC will provide: tools, gloves, instruction, snacks, and water.Volunteers should: dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or boots, expect to get dirty, and bring a refillable water bottle.
